Canoa Quebrada - Getting there

Canoa Quebrada is 166km from Fortaleza,  CE-40 is the main road to all spots south of Fortaleza, and the trip to takes around 2.5h.

To get there by car, follow the CE-040 up to Aracati. In Aracati, skirt around the city taking the BR-304 up to the Canoa Quebrada junction. Driving time is around 2h 40m.  The

By bus. Sao Benedito  (Tel: 85 3272 .1232 )   (Tel: bus company , operates daily direct line from Fortaleza to Canoa Quebrada. Busses departure from the central Fortaleza bus station (Rodoviária São Tomé )
 at: 06:00, 07:30, 08:30, 11:00, 13:30 and 17.30. At Canoa Quebrada, busses stop at the at the beginning of “Broadway” street (Main Street), and ride back to Fortaleza at: 06:00, 09:40, 11:00, 12:40, 14:30 and 17:30. 

 Nordeste and Guanabara bus companies, has daily lines to Aracati, from there you can catch a Taxi, or a van that departs every 20 minutes in front of the Matriz Church. The bus station and the Matriz are distant from each other, so you need a taxi or a moto-taxi if you travel light.,  van departing every 20 minutes from opposite the Matriz Church.
